for exploring north and west Lakeland . 7 minutes drive takes you to Keswick on the shores of Derwentwater. Even closer is Bassenthwaite lake where the Ospreys can be seen all summer catching fish to feed their chicks. If you don't want to drive there are many walks from the doorstep from a gentle stroll to Bassenthwaite lake to a steepish path into the Whinlatter forest. Whether it's a short break or a longer stay our holiday accommodation is a home from home.
